PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an H-steel with a bent web, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the H-steel in which a corrugated shape is formed in the longitudinal direction of a member in the web, corrugations formed in the web 4 are alternately bent in the longitudinal direction of the member at an interval equivalent to 0.5-1.5 times of a beam depth dimension in the longitudinal direction of the member, and in a range corresponding to a height dimension equivalent to 50-70% of a web depth dimension in a beam depth direction. A ridge 5 and a valley 6, and flat inclined web side plates 2 and 3 different in the direction of inclination, which are positioned between them, are alternately formed. The difference of elevation between the ridge 5 and the valley 6 is set 2-10 times greater than the plate thickness of the web. The cross-sectional corrugated shapes of the web, which are alternately repeated in the longitudinal direction of the member by the ridge 5 and the valley 6, and the inclined web side plates 2 and 3 between them, are formed as approximately triangular corrugated shapes.
