PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel which prevents intrusion of a foreign substance from an inlet in injection of liquid crystal and high quality display is performed and the liquid crystal display panel manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel of the present invention includes first and second substrates and is characterized by having the following processes of (1) to (5). (1) A process (S4') of forming a projection member for blocking intrusion of the foreign substance at a part where a liquid crystal inlet of the first substrate is formed, (2) a process (S5) of applying a seal member on outer surroundings except the part where the projection member is provided of the first substrate to form the liquid crystal inlet, (3) processes (S6-S8) of adhering the first substrate and the second substrate by interposing the seal member, (4) a process (S10) of injecting the liquid crystal from the liquid crystal inlet and (5) a process (S11) of sealing the liquid crystal inlet by encapsulant.
