PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens manufacturing method of manufacturing an excellent lens. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the lens manufacturing method of manufacturing the lens by sticking a liquid crystal panel and a cover lens which are processed to have curved surfaces, and the manufacturing method of the optical component includes: a plasma processing stage S101 of performing plasma processing on an adhesion surface of at least one of the liquid crystal panel and cover lens; an adhesive dripping stage S102 of horizontally fixing the adhesion surface after the plasma processing in the plasma processing stage S101 and dripping an adhesive with predetermined viscosity on the adhesion surface; and a sticking stage of bringing an adhesion surface of the other panel into contact with the adhesion surface after the adhesive dripping stage to stick the pair of panels together.
