摘要 A power factor compensation circuit is provided to prevent abrupt rising of an output voltage even when an input voltage is abruptly changed, by increasing response speed on the variation of the input voltage. A power factor compensation circuit includes a feedback signal generator(140) and a switching controller(130). The feedback signal generator generates a feedback voltage corresponding to an output voltage of an output stage of the power factor compensation circuit. The switching controller receives the feedback voltage and controls on and off of a switch of the power factor compensation circuit. The feedback signal generator includes first and second resistors, a first capacitor, a comparator, and a switching controller. The first and second resistors are connected to both ends of the output stage in series. The first capacitor is connected between the output stage and a first node which is a contact point between the first and second resistors. The comparator generates a feedback voltage by comparing a voltage of the first node with a reference voltage. The switching controller controls the on and off of the switch by receiving the feedback voltage.
