PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharge device capable of performing stable paper discharge while preventing stock failure and enwinding to a paper discharge roller etc. even with respect to paper sheets with large curls. SOLUTION: A plurality of (three) actuators 46, 47, 48 for full detection which abut on paper sheets and are displaced to detect a full state of the paper sheets when the paper sheets discharged from a discharge port 45 and stacked on a paper discharge tray 5 become the full state reaching predetermined height are arranged in the width direction of the discharge port 45. Detection parts 46a, 47a, 48a of the actuators 46, 47, 48 for full detection are arranged in positions entering from end parts in the width direction of various sizes (B5, A4) of longitudinally discharged paper sheets to the inner side in the width direction by x=5 to 10 mm.
