PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor selecting a parameter suitable for image processing in an extremely short time when the image processing is performed in real-time during imaging a video and displaying the video image treated by image processing based on this parameter. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by using of an image processor having an arithmetic processing part for image processing of the input image, a parameter determination part which is independent from the arithmetic processing part and performs a calculation of the parameter and a direction of changing the applicable parameter, a parameter holding means for memorizing a plurality of parameters applied to the image processing, and a parameter changing means for switching the parameter applied to the image processing between the parameters memorized in the parameter holding means.
