INK SET FOR COLOR FILTER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for a color filter that facilitates smooth discharge of liquid drops by an ink-jet system and that can be used for manufacturing a color filter having excellent durability and capable of displaying an image with excellent contrast; to provide a color filter having excellent durability and capable of displaying an image with excellent contrast; and to provide an image display device and an electronic equipment having the color filter.

SOLUTION: The ink set for a color filter includes a plurality of kinds of inks and is used for manufacturing a color filter by discharging the ink by an ink-jet system onto a substrate where a great number of cells are formed. Further, the ink set includes a pigment ink containing a pigment and a dye ink containing a dyestuff, the pigment ink and the dye ink to be discharged into the same cell.
