<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for threading a fiber optic cable with an optical connector, by which the fiber optic cable can be threaded through an existent piping for laying an electric wire, etc., with small traction force without damaging the fiber optic cable to be threaded. <P>SOLUTION: When the fiber optic cable 31 with the optical connector having a knob portion 19, with an engage-release function with an adapter, externally mounted on a plug frame 9 covering a ferrule is threaded through the piping 39, the fiber optic cable 31, with the optical connector with at least the knob portion 19 detached, is towed and threaded through the piping 39 and then the knob portion 19 is mounted on the plug frame 9, for performing threading of the fiber optic cable with the optical connector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
