<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus that is suitable for drying a nonwoven fabric having relatively low air permeability and can largely decrease the occurrence of expansion type defects in the nonwoven webs. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises the first heating zone, the second heating zone, the tension separation means arranged between the first and the second heating means. The tension separation means is applied as a sheet tension, when the sheet is conveyed through the first heating zone and the tension is decreased, when the sheet goes out from the separating means, and then conveyed to the second heating zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
