摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the water quality standards of a pumping station in combined sewer system. SOLUTION: This pump control unit comprises: an inflow water quality predicting means 2 for predicting the BOD of inflow into the pump station so as to compute a water-quality recovery time when an inflow BOD during a rainfall is returned to an inflow BOD in a fine weather; an influent water amount-predicting means 3 for predicting the amount of the water flowing into the pumping station; an outflow-rate computing means 4 which is equipped with the pump-station operation simulation function of simulating the operation of the pumping station, and which outputs an inflow BOD, a discharge starting time, a discharge completion time, the amount of effluent, and discharge conditions, on the basis of the predicted amount of the water flowing into the pump station; a mean discharged-water quality computing means 5 for computing the mean BOD of the discharge on the basis of the water-quality return time, the inflow BOD, the discharge starting time, the discharge completion time, and the amount of the effluent; a pump start/stop time computing means 6 for determining a pump starting time and a pump stop time, on the basis of the water-quality return time, the inflow BOD, the mean BOD of the discharge, the discharge starting time, the discharge completion time, the amount of the influent-water, the amount of the effluent, and the discharge conditions; and a pump control means 7 for controlling the start and stop of the pump on the basis of the pump starting time and the pump stop time.
