PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spotting point determining apparatus for checking whether all the spotting points are designated. SOLUTION: The spotting point determining apparatus has a recording means for recording spot-welded component information showing the shape of a spot-welded component; an acquisition means for acquiring component information including information showing the shape of a target component; a spot-welded component determining means for determining whether or not the target component is a spot-welded component based on the component information acquired by the acquisition means and the spot-welded component information recorded in the recording means; a spotting point determining means for determining whether or not spotting point information on a position to spot-weld the target component in the component information acquired by the acquisition means, if the spot-welded component determining means determines that the target component is a spot-welded component; and a process means for performing a predetermined process if the spotting point determining means determines that the spotting point information does not exist in the component information.
