<p>Binding machine for papers and method thereof making it possible to bind stacked sheets of paper in well-regulated fashion irrespective of shape and size thereof. While feed rollers 24 pay out a paper web K, tape catches 21, 21 turn with grasping the paper web K in a direction shown with an arrow B1 along an illustrated locus R. In synchronization with the turning motion as stated earlier, stacked 100 sheets PB of paper are transferred from left side to right side in a direction shown with an arrow A2. With a sequence of operations as stated earlier, the paper web K swaddles the stacked 100 sheets of paper. After a presser 26 is actuated to bring a foremost abutment 26a thereof into contact with the paper web K, turning a rod results in regulation of an angle ? made between the stacked 100 sheets PB of paper and the paper web K. For example, even if the angle ? at the bound portion of the stacked 100 sheets PB of paper is too large, the presser 26 keeps the angle not more than a tolerable value ?S, preventing the stacked 100 sheets PB of paper against getting turned up.</p> |
