<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of reducing cost, capable of restraining a weight increase, and capable of protecting a coupling. <P>SOLUTION: This power transmission device 1 has a differential mechanism and the coupling 11 coaxially arranged with a wheel shaft 5 and arranged by sandwiching a wall part 9 of a first resting system in the axial direction to the differential mechanism. The coupling 11 has an inside rotary member 13, outside rotary members 15 and 17, a transmission member 19 and an actuator 21, and has a support member 23 arranged on the opposite side of the wall part 9 by sandwiching the coupling 11 in the axial direction, fixed to a second resting system and supporting a part of the coupling 11 or a drive shaft 5. The actuator 21 has a cover 25 arranged in the axial direction between the transmission member 19 and the support member 23 and covering the outside rotary members 15 and 17 of the coupling 11 by connecting the wall part 9 and the actuator 21 between the wall part 9 and the actuator 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
