PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always maintain an accurate focusing state over a long term by taking into consideration the deterioration in performance to changes due to aging of a sensor. SOLUTION: The projector apparatus is equipped with a projection part (14 to 25) forming a light figure, projecting the formed light figure by a lens optical system, having an automatic focus function and providing an image on a projection target surface; a temperature sensor 27 for detecting the temperature of the optical lens unit 22 of the projection part (14 to 25); a program memory 29 stored with a table, where a revision value corresponding to a detection result by the temperature sensor 27 is set; and a control part 28, referring to the table stored in the program memory 29, according to the detection result by the temperature sensor 27, making the position of a focus lens 22a of the optical lens unit 22 move according to the obtained corrected value, thereby correcting image location by the automatic focus function, receiving the fine adjustment input of the position of the focus lens 22a relative to the revised image location, and making the table stored in the program memory 29 updated and set, according to the received fine adjustment input.
