A multilayer capacitor is provided to properly adjust ESR(Equivalent Series Resistance) by connecting only one of first and second internal electrodes to a connection conductor. A multilayer capacitor(C1) includes a capacitor element(L1), a plurality of first terminal electrodes(1A~1D), a plurality of second electrodes(2A~2D), a first external connection conductor(3), and a second external connection conductor(4). The capacitor element includes first and second main surfaces(L1a,L1b), first and second end surfaces(L1c,L1d), and first and second side surfaces(L1e,L1f). The first and second end surfaces are extended in a short side direction of the first and second main surfaces to connect the first and second main surfaces. The first and second side surfaces are extended in a long side direction of the first and second main surfaces to connect the first and second main surfaces.
