PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of detailing of a door attachment device such as a cylinder lock by obtaining a door drilling implement which can easily apply marking and drilling to the front and back sides of a door with a high degree of accuracy, and a drilling method. SOLUTION: The door drilling implement comprises: a front-side abutting member 11 which abuts on the front side of the door; a backside abutting member 13 which is connected to the front-side abutting member 11 via connection portions 11b and 13b in such a manner as to be freely brought closer to/separated from the front-side abutting member, and which abuts on the backside of the door while sandwiching the door between the front-side and backside abutting members 11 and 13; butt-end abutting members 15 which are movably provided for both the front-side and backside abutting members 11 and 13, and which can be freely brought closer to/separated from a butt end of the door; a fixing means 17 for releasably regulating the relative displacement of the front-side and backside abutting members 11 and 13, and the butt-end abutting members 15; form plate portions H1, H2, H3 and H4 provided in the front-side and backside abutting members 11 and 13; and a first scale M1 which is provided in each of the front-side and backside abutting members 11 and 13, in the movable range of the butt-end abutting member 15 on the basis of the form plate portions, and which can indicate a distance from the form plate portion to the butt end of door.
