PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a multilayer optical recording medium excellent in a layer thickness distribution of a light transmittance layer. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a multilayer optical recording medium includes a process (A) for supplying a radiation-curable resin composition to a rotation center on a light-transmitting plane substrate having no center hole; a process (B) for rotating the substrate at the rotation center to spread the resin composition by centrifugal force; a process (C) for bringing a stamper with a groove shape formed into close contact with the resin composition, curing the resin composition and forming a radiation-curable resin layer; a process (D) for peeling off the stamper at an interface with the resin layer and transferring the groove shape of the stamper to the resin layer; a process (E) for forming an information layer on a groove-shaped surface of the substrate; a process (F) for bonding a first substrate having a groove shape and a first information layer on one face and a substrate with an information layer formed with the information layers in contact with each other; a process (G) for peeling the substrate from the interface with the resin layer to create an optical recording medium intermediate; and a process (H) for forming a center hole at almost the center of the intermediate.
