<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which reduces a load of conversion processing and decreases the quantity of information after conversion by commonly converting image data in a part of image data into vector information when converting image data into vector information. <P>SOLUTION: An extracting unit of an image processing apparatus extracts pixel blocks from image data and extracts positions of the pixel blocks, a first code assigning means assigns first codes to the extracted pixel blocks, and a pixel block/code association-information generating means generates pixel block/code association-information that associates the extracted pixel blocks with the first codes assigned by the first code assigning means. A file generating means generates a file based on the pixel block/code association-information generated by the pixel block/code association-information generating means, the first codes assigned by the first code assigning means and the positions of the pixel blocks, corresponding to the first codes, extracted by the extracting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
