A method for transceiving a broadcast signal and an apparatus for receiving the broadcast signal are provided to transmit video streams to one virtual channel and transceive program table information including identification information capable of discriminating each of the video streams, thereby acquiring the plural video streams for the virtual channel. A method for transmitting a broadcast signal comprises the following steps of: generating program table information including identification information capable of discriminating plural video streams included into one virtual channel(S10); multiplexing the generated program table information and the plural video streams(S20); and transmitting the multiplexed program table information and video streams(S30). The program table information includes an identifier flag capable of discriminating the plural video streams.
