<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of reducing the power consumption by dispensing with a pump, improving the efficiency of a device by reducing heat radiation loss in a water circuit, and improving operation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater has a heat pump cycle 5, and a heat accumulating means 13 comprising a plurality of latent heat accumulating materials 33 of various melting points, accumulating the heat by utilizing the heat of fusion, and a heat radiating means 27 of the heat pump cycle 5, whereby the power consumption can be reduced as the pump is not mounted, and the efficiency of the device can be improved by reducing the heat radiation loss in the water circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
