<p>A waistcoat body made from textile material has an opening for a neck (14) and openings for arms (18). Stretched, rigid reinforcing strips (2,22) fasten on the waistcoat body and run vertical to the waistcoat's peripheral direction running parallel to a link between the openings for the arms. The textile material is a flexible base knitted material, into which threads/yarns on high-strength polyester, polyamide or polypropylene are incorporated to form reinforcing strips during the process of knitting the base material.</p> |
