ONE BODY ENERGY ABSORBER MADE OF MATERIALS EACH HAVING A DIFFERENT FORMING RATIO AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME

An integral energy absorber and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve collision performance of a vehicle while reducing the weight of the integral energy absorber. An integral energy absorber(100) comprises a front section(110) and a rear section(120) integrally formed with the front section. A foaming ratio of the front section is lower than that of the second section. A volume ratio between the front and second sections is set to 6:4 by taking the weight and strength into consideration. When the integral energy absorber is applied to a vehicle, the rear section having higher strength is arranged to directly make collision with an object, thereby improving collision performance of the vehicle.
