An apparatus and a method for integrating building information data on a numerical map are provided to establish definite procedure and standard in a process of integrating building information on different numerical maps and secure confidence of new building information data. An apparatus for integrating building information data on numerical maps includes a storage unit(100), a standardization unit(200), a matching unit(300), a confidence detector(400), and a numerical map generator(500). The storage unit stores building information data on different numerical maps. The standardization unit receives the building information data from the storage unit and standardizes attribute information of the building information data such that the building information data is suited to an integrated numerical map. The matching unit matches verified building information data with the standardized building information data based on distance information and building information. The confidence detector generates confidence detection information based on the matching result. The numerical map generator inserts the confidence detection information into the integrated numerical map. |
