The device has a duct (30) for guiding air issued from a compressor (40) through an air overfeeding cooler (20), and provided with a zone (31) in which water vapor is presented in air intake, where the water vapor is condensed after passing the water vapor into the cooler. A heating unit (14) i.e. resistive heater is arranged near the zone to melt an ice formed in the zone, and is fixed on the duct, where the heating unit is located near an outlet (22) of the cooler. An independent claim is also included for a method for starting a vehicle.
