A system and method for premises management networking includes monitoring premises management devices (for example lights, doors, temperatures and motion detectors) connected to a gateway at a premises. Said devices are monitored and a summary of services provided is displayed at a user interface. The devices may comprise a sensor device and actuator. The system may be operated in different user defined modes (for example 'AWAY' mode). The devices may have automation rules assigned to them and multiple assigned schedules (for example scheduling light switching times, or temperature). The system may have a communication medium comprising the internet or a telephone network. |
