ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DIODE DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

An OLED display device and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance the reliability of the OLED display device by updating weighted values of data and compensation voltages using a sensor for sensing currents of an organic light emitting diode. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) display device includes a display panel(50), a memory, a data modulation unit(55), and a data driver(52). The display panel includes plural data and gate lines, and pixels having an organic light emitting diode and a driving element for driving the organic light emitting diode. The memory stores a weighted value corresponding to variation amounts of a threshold voltage of the driving element during a frame period. The data modulation unit modulates data by applying the weighted value to the data to be supplied to the pixels. The data driver converts the modulated data into data voltages and supplies the converted data to the data lines.
