<p>The testing apparatus (50) tests a steering apparatus including a torque sensor (5) which detects a steering torque, a steering actuator (M) which applies a steering force to a steering mechanism (3), and a controller (10) which controls the steering actuator (M) based on an output of the torque sensor (5) . The apparatus includes a test signal generating means (51, 30) which generates a test signal of a sine sweep waveform simulating an output signal of the torque sensor (5), a driving signal generating means (10M) which generates a driving signal according to the test signal generated by the test signal generating means (51, 30) and supplies the driving signal to the steering actuator, and a torque signal monitoring means (52, S4) which acquires a torque signal outputted from the torque sensor (5).</p> |
