PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a desired wave stably even if an interference wave having large electric field strength exists, by preventing an increase in power consumption by applying a reception apparatus, a control method of the reception apparatus, and a program of the control method of the reception apparatus to such as a mobile type receiver which can receive terrestrial wave digital broadcasting. SOLUTION: The present invention makes a control starting value variable for starting a process of automatic gain control by an increase of an input signal level caused by deterioration in a reception state.
