<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track and field event simulation game device which reproduces a true-to-life start of a track and field event and permits players to fictitiously enjoy the tack and field event while making a running motion. <P>SOLUTION: The track and filed event simulation game device has a running belt slidingly rotating in accordance with the player's running motion, and displays an image including a character acting in tandem with the rotation condition of the running belt on a display means by the control of a game processing means.
