PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal recording/reproducing apparatus which automatically carries out correction of variation of conversion gains of a plurality of signal conversion units for a plurality of broadcasting signals which are different frequencies, and carries out calibration of the conversion gains of a plurality of signal conversion units before recording the broadcasting signals, and performs recording of the broadcasting signals in high precision. SOLUTION: A plurality of reference signals fn with different frequencies output from a reference signal generation unit 400 are input to a recording signal conversion unit main bodies 12n for each frequency fn. The recording signal conversion unit main bodies 12n prepare variable attenuators 12nA which adjust conversion gains Q of input signals based on control signals "en" from external, a control unit 200 automatically adjusts and converges the control signal "en" so that output error Z(en) of the recording signal conversion unit body 12n becomes zero, calibrates the conversion gains Q of the signal conversion unit bodies 12n for each frequency fn with the value before recording the radio frequency signals.
