<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-resolution image input device which can obtain a sufficient resolution for a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The high-resolution image input device includes an image sensor, a member for holding a parallel plate glass, a ringlike member provided to abut against the holding member and to rotate each other, a cam means consisting of a bearing abutting against a cam surface arranged on either the holding member or ringlike member in order to incline the holding member against the optical axis or a cam surface arranged on the other holding member or ringlike member, a means for driving the ringlike member, a means to be shifted by inclination of the parallel plate glass for storing a plurality of images picked up by means of the image sensor, and a means for compounding high-resolution images out of a plurality of images stored in the storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
