<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a removable dental prosthesis on an abutment tooth so as to break stress, to reduce burdens acting on a tooth to be the abutment tooth, and to stably support the dental prosthesis. <P>SOLUTION: The dental prosthesis retaining device comprises: a retaining mechanism for retaining a crown on the abutment tooth by an anchor pin erected on a tooth root and a cylindrical container embedded inside the crown for elastically supporting the anchor pin by a coil spring housed inside and wound while imparting deviation beforehand; and a support structure constituted of a support part installed to the tooth root and a support receiving part on the crown side which can be engaged with the support part. When holding the crown on the tooth root, the anchor pin is clamped and fixed by the coil spring, the cylindrical container inside the crown is retained by the anchor pin on the abutment tooth by the resistance force of the coil spring generated in the fixation, and side stress breaking and vertical stress breaking actions to the tooth root are achieved by the deformation of the coil spring to a pressure applied during digestion or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
