PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller type flow meter which can be assembled while visually confirming that a shaft of an impeller is put into a bearing hole. SOLUTION: The impeller type flow meter includes a tubular housing 4, the impeller 5 rotatably housed in the housing 4, and a sensor detecting the rotation of the impeller 5. The housing 4 comprises a first housing 10 and a second housing 11 connected with each other. Bearings 30 are held in the hollow holes 12, 13 of the housings 10, 11, respectively. In the shaft 34 of the impeller 5, in a state that one end part is held by the bearing 30 of the first housing 10, the other end part protrudes from an opening of the first housing 10. The bearing 30 of the second housing 11 is arranged so that the end face protrudes from the opening of the second housing 11. Both the housings 10, 11 can be connected with each other while confirming that the other end part of the shaft 34 of the impeller 5 is held by the bearing 30 of the second housing 11.
