<p>It is intended to enhance not only a yield ratio being a proportion of weight of ring-shaped member to weight of starting material but also a yield ratio being a proportion of ring-shaped member to blank, thereby attaining cost reduction. There is provided a process for manufacturing a ring-shaped member from oblong ringlike blank (3), comprising expanding each of a pair of linking portions (3b,3c) from the inside of the blank (3) outward and simultaneously pressing each of a pair of circular arc portions (3d) from outside inward so as to effect expansion into a ring-shaped member.</p>
