<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the strength of the button pressing operation by a user. <P>SOLUTION: In the input device 300, a grip module 201 to be gripped by the user detects the posture and the button pressing operation by the user. A storage part 301 stores the process of change of the detected posture for a prescribed period of time, and a calculation part 302 calculates the quantity of change of the posture for the prescribed period of time. When the pressing operation is detected, an estimation part 303 estimate the strength of the pressing operation according to the calculated quantity of change. A determination part 304 determines whether the swinging operation of the grip module 201 was performed or not based on the calculated quantity of change. An output part 305 outputs the result of estimation of the strength of the pressing operation by the estimation part 303.
