PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetables and fruits sorting apparatus which is improved in workability and sorting accuracy, wherein the flesh part of vegetables and fruits such as cherries is loaded on a central concave part of a transportation tray so that the sugar content, etc. can be measured in a measuring part. SOLUTION: The vegetables and fruits sorting apparatus has a supplying part 3 for storing an unsorted material, the measuring part 4 for measuring the unsorted material of the supplying part 3, a sorting part for sorting the unsorted material based on a measuring information of the measuring part 4, and a transportation part 2 for transporting the unsorted material of the supplying part 3 from the neighborhood of the supplying part 3 to the sorting part, in which a plurality of trays 8 having the concave part near the center are installed onto a conveyer of no end. The apparatus has an excitation mechanism 27 for vibrating trays 8, positioned before transportation to the measuring part 4, between the supplying part 3 and the measuring part 4, near the transportation part 2 between the supplying part 3 and the measuring part 4. Then, the excitation mechanism 27 makes trays 8 vibrate by a motor 28 or a hammer 29 (an excitation member) working with a solenoid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
