PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine and a facsimile transmission method which, in a shop such as a convenience store, allow a client who utilizes a facsimile service to utilize the facsimile service preferentially to the utilization of shop duties at all times without causing the client and a store clerk to take care of the setting status of the facsimile machine. SOLUTION: While the execution of charging processing for the utilization of a facsimile service is designated, a request of transmission processing in a charging mode is accepted and while the execution of charging processing is not designated, on the other hand, a request of transmission processing in a non-charging mode is accepted. If there is a request of interruption transmission processing during transmission processing in the non-charging mode (S605), transmission processing under execution is interrupted (S608) and the requested interruption transmission processing is carried out. Even if there is the request of interruption transmission processing during transmission processing in the charging mode (S605), transmission processing under execution is continued (S607).
