PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meat slicer having a scraper operated during slicing work, always keeping a round cutter in a clean state even in various use states, and obtaining a sliced meat piece having a fine cut surface without dirtying the cut end face of meat. SOLUTION: This meat slicer includes: a round cutter 1 rotatably installed; a meat box 2 reciprocating in the direction parallel to the blade surface of the round cutter; and a scraper 3 supported at a fixed position of a machine table so as not to interfere with the meat box outside of the round cutter, and to abut on the blade rear face of the round cutter to scrape meat chips adhering to the blade rear face. The scraper is a meat chips removing device constituted so as to reciprocate between the position for abutting on the blade rear face of the round cutter and the outside position of the round cutter, and has a means for switching the state in which the scraper reciprocates in synchronization with the reciprocation of the meat box, and the state in which only the scraper reciprocates.
