PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigidity increasing structure of a steel frame beam capable of suppressing or preventing deflection of the beam effectively by an inexpensive and simple structure to facilitate the construction. SOLUTION: The steel frame beam 1 provided with upper and lower flanges 2, 3 and a web 4 for connecting these flanges mutually is provided while its both ends are supported, and an upward projecting arch-shaped rigidity increasing member 5 is provided between the upper and lower flanges 2 and 3 of the steel frame beam 1. The arcuate rigidity increasing member 5 is provided in such a way that its both ends are connected with the lower flange 3 in both end parts of the steel frame beam 1 or at positions in the vicinity of them and its central part is abutted on the upper flange 2 in a central part of the steel frame beam 1 or at a position in the vicinity of the central part to suppress or prevent downward deflection of the steel frame beam 1.
