PORTABLE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR PLAYING MUSIC THEREOF

A portable terminal and a method for regenerating music therein are provided to enable a user to be infatuated with music without interruption by intercepting the reception of calls or messages while music is being regenerated. If music play mode is selected(S203), a control part confirms whether a specific mode in music play mode is deep sleep mode(S205). If so, the control part regenerates music the user selects in deep sleep mode(S207). Then the control part confirms whether a call is received(S209). If a call is received from another portable terminal, the control part intercepts call reception. Then the control part transmits an absent signal to the calling number of the call(S211). In case a message is received(S213), the control part intercepts message reception(S215). In this case, the control part doesn't inform the user than the message has been received.
