PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil for diesel engines having oxidation stability under high-temperature environments. SOLUTION: The fuel composition for the diesel engines comprises (1) 80-0 vol.% of one or more kinds of intermediate fractions selected from the group consisting of a straight-run kerosene fraction, a straight-run gas oil fraction, a cracked gas oil fraction, a cracked kerosene fraction and a hydrodesulfurized material thereof and (2) 20-100 vol.% of GTL (synthetic gas oil, n-paraffin/iso-paraffin fraction). The fuel composition is characterized in that the time to a change in electroconductivity at 150°C liquid temperature is≥4 h in an oxidation stability test according to the EN14112 test.
