摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system for a moving robot, reducing the confirmation load on a monitor. SOLUTION: A moving robot includes: a position detecting part for detecting the current position; an abnormality determining means for storing the abnormal state in a storage part when the detecting part detects abnormality; a communication control means for transmitting abnormal information based on abnormality detection of the detecting part and the current position to a monitoring center and a recovery processing means for performing recovery processing for releasing the abnormal state of the storage part. The monitoring center includes: a center storage part storing an important area; a mode setting means for managing a plurality of modes including an automatic recovery mode; an informing part operated on receiving abnormality information from the moving robot; a position comparing means for comparing the current position of the moving robot with the important area; and an automatic recovery control means for inhibiting the operation of the informing part and causing the moving robot to perform the recovery processing on receiving the abnormality information detected outside of the important area in the automatic recovery mode.
