<p>An air conditioner includes a manual control panel for enabling a user to select from among a number of operating modes, including respective areas of a room to receive discharged air from the air conditioner. In accordance with the selected mode, there occurs an automatic adjustment of the orientation of air-directing vanes and the speed of an air discharge fan. The vanes can be adjusted to stationary positions, or can be oscillated.</p> |
