<p>PURPOSE:To dissolve the generation of moment for revolving a pad in the circumferential direction of a disc when brake is not applied by allowing the position where the force of a retraction spring is applied on a pad and the position where the reactive force of a caliper hook part is applied on the pad to coincide in the circumferential direction of the disc. CONSTITUTION:When a cylinder 27 is applied with the pressurized oil, a pad 23 is press-attached onto one surface of a disc 21 by a piston 26. At the same time, each hook part 29a, 29b of a caliper 25 is press-attached on the other surface of the disc 21 by the reactive force. Accordingly, the revolving disc 21 is brake-applied. When brake is not applied, the pads 23 and 24 are pushed in the separation direction by the restoration forces of the retraction springs 31a and 31b. In this case, the position where the forces of the springs 31a and 31b are applied on the pads 23 and 24 and the position where the reactive forces of the hook parts 29a and 29b or the piston 26 are applied on the pads 23 and 24 coincide in the circumferential direction of the disc 21. Further, the generation of the moment for turning the pads 23 and 24 is prevented.</p> |
