The invention concerns a masking agent in powder form for pharmaceutical flavours comprising a mixture of a sapid agent and a flavour enhancer. Said mixture is in the form of a close mixture whereof the sapid agent/flavour enhancer distribution is substantially homogeneous, non-statistical, and whereof the proportion of sapid agent relative to the flavour enhancer is substantially constant and equal in all the powder particles. Advantageously it has a grain size ranging between 10 and 100 mu m, with a gaussian diffusion, and the sapid agent/flavour enhancer ratio is for example between 97/3 and 100/2, said values being expressed in parts by weight.
