A spacing device for a composition wood deck is provided to facilitate construction of the composition wood deck by sliding the composition wood deck along guides of the spacing device between the spacing devices. A spacing device for a composition wood deck comprises a base(11), a vertical plate(12), guides (13), and fastening members(50). The base, which is mounted on supporters, supports the composition wood deck, and moderates shocks applied to the composition wood deck. The vertical plate protrudes from the center of the base upwards and has a number of vertical through-holes(15). The guides are horizontally formed at two sides of the vertical plate to guide the composition wood deck. The fastening members are driven into the through-holes of the vertical plate and fixed to the supporters. The base, the vertical plate, and the guides are formed of soft synthetic resin. |
