PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a microwave drying device by improving the irradiation efficiency of microwave. SOLUTION: The microwave drying device 1 is miniaturized by arranging a heat insulation part 6 capable of transmitting the microwave M in the outer periphery side of a quartz tube 7 housing activated carbon 15 inside, attaching a plurality of wave guide pipes P1 for propagating the microwave M to the outer periphery side of the heat insulation part 6, forming a rectangular wave guide pipe space part 25a in each wave guide pipe and arranging each wave guide pipe in the outer periphery side of the heat insulation part to make the longitudinal direction of the wave guide space part 25a the same direction as the axial direction of the quartz tube to improve the irradiation efficiency of the microwave M. |
