<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an automatic clutch and an automatic clutch device capable of smoothly operating the clutch for engagement by controlling the clutch engaging speed in an automatic start of the automatic clutch device. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of controlling an automatic clutch device, the operation of an output piston 6 is restricted by an auxiliary driving mechanism 40 including a DUTY-controlled electric motor 42, and the clutch engaging speed is variably controlled by the combination of the pressure control of a power cylinder 2 by a solenoid valve 28 and the brake control by an output rod 50 connected to the electric motor. When moving the output piston to a target position in the clutch engaging direction, mass of a pressure medium to be discharged from a first pressure chamber is computed, and the computed mass of the pressure medium is delivered from the first pressure chamber by one operation for opening the valve, and while the output piston is moved to the target position by the electric motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
