In an assembly line process to apply a flexible seal profile to an automobile door, the seal is presented and applied in a synchronised and time sequence. The seal is withdrawn from a magazine and the contact interface to the door is coated with a suitable bonding agent, applied and pressed into place with a roller. Also claimed is a commensurate application assembly.
