PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly dub content of digital broadcasting or the like. SOLUTION: A dubbing control part 236 judges whether or not content recorded in an HDD 112 satisfies prescribed conditions, that is, whether to be, for example, a program of terrestrial digital broadcasting, eliminates the content from the HDD 112 after recording the content from the HDD 112 to a removable medium 114 when content with copying control information being no more copying does not satisfy the prescribed conditions, and leaves the content in the HDD 112 as it is after recording the content from the HDD 112 to the removable medium 114 when the content with the copying control information being no more copying satisfies the prescribed conditions.
